About the Game

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game set in the grimdark universe of the 41st Millennium. Pick your force, develop your army, field mighty heroes and fight for victory using superior strategy, awesome abilities, and devastating weaponry.

Age of Crimson Dawn

Experience an epic twenty mission single-player campaign that explores the aftermath of the Devasta-tion of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies purge the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus, and preserve the honour of the noble Blood Angels.

Skirmish Mode

Fight across the surface of Baal on maps of your choosing in the Skirmish mode. Pick the faction you'll lead as well as the one you'll face. Completely customize your army list by selecting your units, heroes and their loadouts. It is available with three different types of Objective: Exterminatus, Conqueror and Strategic Command.

Planetary Supremacy Mode

Planetary Supremacy is a conquest-style skirmish campaign, introduced in a free update as part of our ever expanding plan for Battlesector, in which you, the player, decide the outcome.

Take command of your favourite faction and conquer the planet in a series of procedurally generated skirmish battles. To achieve victory, capture more tiles, acquire strategic resources and expand your army. Then, bring destruction to your enemies in Skirmish battles.

Daemonic Incursion

Daemonic Incursion is a single-player mode that is available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that was launched alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack. In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple: SURVIVE!

Forge Your Armies

Command iconic units like the Sanguinary Priest, the Librarian Dreadnought, and the Hive Tyrant to annihilate your foes. Use over 60 abilities and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody de-mise.

Build Momentum

Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to string together superhuman chains of actions, or use the opportunity to further upgrade their abili-ties.

Call In Air Support

Use Command Points to call in faction-specific air support abilities. The Blood Angels Stormraven can obliterate xenos with a missile barrage, or deep strike a unit of veteran Assault Marines behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can devastate the enemy defenses with its Sonic Screech, or scat-ter the battlefield with its deadly Spore Mines.

Face Your Friends On The Battlefield

With live and asynchronous multiplayer, and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.

Reviews about the game

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector25.11.2023

It was a bit too dense for me (i like me simple game for me brain of dumb), but if you want a 40K strategy game with a lot of numbers on screen, you'll probably get exactly what you're looking for.

This is easily my favorite 40k game, i´m not huge on RTS so Dawn of war and such is good but not really meshing with my prefered gameplay. This game is turn based and has army customisation with weapon options, something I always wanted is a more TT like experience on a computer. This is the closest thing I found so far and it´s really good, it´s lacking factions atm but it´s being added overtime. When it started it was just Blood angels and Tyranids, now it´s Orcs, Necron, Khorne Daemons, Blood angels, Adeptus sororitas and Tyranids. Keep in mind extra factions are DLC so if you want them all it will cost more than the base game. Each army has a selection of units from the TT, sadly missing alot of options here that I hope will be added at some point. They recently added The warsuit for Blood angels and will be adding extra units to all factions moving forward so there is hope yet for established factions. I really hope they add in some more factions too like Tau, Eldar and Imperial guard. Still the game as it is now is my top 40k game for TT style skirmish.

Great Tacticool game, shame there aren't more campaigns with the DLC factions to play through.

The campaign is super easy and its nice to get a digital version of table top sort of but the ai cheats a lot in planetary supremacy mode it magically gets 300+ army score while you are left with control areas that give 200 or 100 or none around the centre of your main base its not fair and makes my game very lack luster you get very limited table top units if they added in all the cp abilities and powers of armys and all the units it would be awesome very basic units are in this game, the game has a long way to go for development but its been out for ages.

I Bought this game because Jason said that I lacked the piety and skill to meet him on the battle field, after purchasing he suddenly has become to busy to meet me in battle and instead continues to dilly dally while wallowing in his cowardice. Should he find the courage to meet me on the field I will update this review. *Edit- He found his courage and it appears he may in fact be slightly more pious than I; despite the fact my entire army now walks with the Emperor.
