About the Game

Design a towering mega mall in this mall management simulation game.

Design a towering mall of mega proportions! Attract droves of customers and elevate yourself to 5-star status in this mall management simulation game!

Add anything from fast food joints to sushi restaurants, stairs and elevators--even a heliport--all with a touch of the finger!

When your establishment's popularity reaches a certain point, a "Fever" is triggered in which customers swamp your mall!

You can then exercise your newfound affluence by investing in the surrounding area--bringing in even more customers and being a good citizen at the same time! Oh yeah!

Keep your eyes on the mega-prize--only you can build the ultimate mall!

▼Game Flow

Try to build shops that your customers will like. When a customer is satisfied with a shop's quality, they become a regular. Regulars tend to spend more money.

Malls are ranked with a 5-star rating system. As you go up in rank, you will get access to more employees and advertising methods. Try to get to 5 stars.

▼Adding Stores

You can get plans for new stores by selecting "Actions" > "Buy Plans" from the menu. You will sometimes get new plans as a gift when a customer becomes a regular.

Adding new stores will sometimes attract new customers. In some cases, a customer may even ask you to invest in something because they want to move into the area.

▼Making Investments

You can make investments to attract developments such as apartment complexes and office buildings to the area, increasing your mall's business.

You can also sometimes invest in your own mall, increasing its size or researching things such as escalators. These will be vital if you want to become a mega-mall.

▼Going Up In Rank

Your ability to go up in rank depends on things like monthly sales and the number of regular customers. Try to build stores that have high sales, or that will be liked by customers.

Reviews about the game

Mega Mall Story13.12.2023
An elementary schooler just spent $48,000 at a PC shop in my mall!
He gave me $100,000 after becoming a regular at my mall.
Review :

[th] About[/th] [th] Description[/th]

Gᴀᴍᴇᴘʟᴀʏ After playing and recommending two previous Kairosoft games, this time the tables have turned. Perhaps it was a mistake or an old bug that the developers seem not to have noticed after so many years. MMS is a mall management game where you construct and organize your mall, purchase shops, and arrange them to utilize combo mechanics that are genuinely fun. You can even build a bus stop, subway, or helicopter for your mall. Despite its solid gameplay, I encountered numerous bugs that significantly impacted my experience. Due to these issues, I've decided not to recommend this game. Overall, it's the fastest game I've beaten, even quicker than Game Dev Story. Nevertheless, it does have decent gameplay.

Gʀᴀᴘʜɪᴄ Kairosoft's style, I've generally had no complaints, but now I've encountered my first issue. The problem lies in the differing banners and descriptions for each shop, which I would say is due to poor localization. For instance, some buildings still display Japanese words on their shop sprites. Additionally, there are cases like the locksmith shop, where the word 'key' appears on its shop sprite. Moreover, some shops lack clear indicators of what they are, making it quite challenging to distinguish between them. However, I do appreciate the addition of a day and night cycle in this game, which sets it apart from the two previous ones. Despite this issue, it's a feature that stands out and adds to the overall experience.

Mᴜʟᴛɪᴘʟᴀʏᴇʀ This Kairosoft game lacks a cloud high score feature. If that's important to you, then this game might not be the best choice.

Cᴏɴᴛʀᴏʟ Mouse and keyboard.

Pʟᴀʏᴛɪᴍᴇ Typically, this game takes around 16 to 20 hours to complete. However, I managed to finish it in just 7 hours.

Sᴛᴏʀʏ Given that it's a Kairosoft game, perhaps it's based on how malls are managed in Japan. Personally, No I believe investing in a mall business might be more profitable than basketball. Additionally, I've never saw we could having regular buyers at our mall. It seems that japanese culture built different.

PC ᴘᴏʀᴛ Tested OS Windows 10 Pro | 64 Bit, Version 22H2.

Bᴜɢ • Controls suck • Inability to move stairs • No cloud high score. • Dismissing floor managers instead of relocating them to other floors. • No indicator for building that has combo, you need to remmeber them which it's suck because how the game look. • Elevators only connect when each floor's position matches, which restricts skipping floors. Also, elevators are faster than other methods. • Building hallways over hallways causes a continuous decrease money due to mobile control issues. There's a glitch allowing the creation of more than 10 hallways, which should cost about $360,000, but a workaround lets you do it for only $20,000 ⓘ Game version 2.23

DLC None.

Exᴛʀᴀ [VALVᴱ] Suggested Price Correct : 9 Cheaper : 26 Overprice : 6 Overal score : 7.4 ( Nice ! ) Community Health Steam ✗ Toxic ✗ Moderator/Developer Problem Reddit ✗ Toxic Note : They had cheaper regional pricing, which is a plus for me! Due for old bug and no QOL, it's better to buy when it on sale.

Oᴘᴘɪɴɪᴏɴ I just requested a refund for another Unity bundle from Kairosoft. If I hadn't encountered any issues with this one, that wouldn't have happened. There are no quality-of-life improvements, and old bugs still exist. There's nothing wrong with playing this. you can play it despite the presence of bugs, and you won't face any major issues. However, for me, it feels like a low-effort port.

Rᴇᴄᴏᴍᴍᴇɴᴅᴇᴅ? No, Buy it when sale! They should consider making the Unity bundle sale permanent because of the game's lack of quality-of-life improvements.
