Grass Cutter is a game about mutating lawns, that requires lightning-speed response and great logical thinking. Here every level is a challenging puzzle.

The goal is to cut the grass. Very simple... At first glance… Grass Cutter calls for focus and commitment. Just one blink of an eye – and you lost. It is very challenging!

Main Features:
 • Feel yourself in the shoes of a lawnmower who saves the world of people.
 • More than 10 types of lawn mutations that give you a real challenge.
 • 5 types of insidious bosses with unique abilities
 • A lot of obstacles
 • Blow, shoot, destroy and get rid of obstacles' debris to clear your way
 • You don't want ordinary lawn mowers? You can play with animals. There are many animals in the game: from cows and sheep to beautiful fairy unicorns.
 • Upgrade the skill system, and they will make you stronger, provide an additional chance to win in case of looming defeat, and also increase your income from victories!
 • The world around us is quite alive, sometimes it reacts to what is happening, and sometimes conceals its secrets and mysteries

Xtract Grass company develops a new kind of grass for lawns. The project is based on the experimental “leavenatine” substance that accelerates growth of grass and guarantees a luxurious lawn in no time!

Company to release the product, without the necessary tests.

The lawns brings huge profits. But the CEO of Xtract Grass has no idea about the error that was already made and about the approaching apocalypse.

That's too much of “leavenatine” was added to the DNA of the grass. Lawn monsters are want to enslave the entire world!

Burning or eliminating monsters using conventional methods is not possible. Bodies of the monsters are full of components that infect other plants.

There is only one way out: all Grass Xtract lawns must be cut!

The game is made in a cubic retro-style, has high complexity at advanced levels and is ready to truly test your reaction!

Reviews about the game

Grass Cutter - Mutated Lawns27.06.2017

I love this game. Looks so simple yet gets difficult later on. You're always moving the moment you press a button. It is possible to find a spot to park on some levels, but since you'll still be using battery can't stop for long either. Controls are simple: arrow keys or WASD along with any other controls you'll get as you play further. The music that plays keeps the game fun for me. They're not annoying loops or generic music, instead feel made for the game and helps it grasp your attention while mowing the lawn while avoiding grass monsters. I find myself dancing to the beat of the music too! My only complaints are that on some levels it's hard to tell where you are horitzontally, the recharge might spawn across the entire level and have to waste time to go, find, and maneuver to it, and the game is only in full screen. ----- Check out more games I see that deserve more attention from my curator group: BluePaw's Underrated Games List Join and/or follow if you wish.

Not really pleasant to play after the first levels because you die a lot and each death means restarting the level and the levels are long. Because of how the game is made you also have to backtrack often to get energy or you die. You can shoot at the ennemies but you need to craft the ammo and for some reason from time to time the ammo you crafted disappear. So instead of being fun and "arcady" the game has become tedious for me.

Other than a great asking price and tons of content - Grass Cutter doesn't have a whole lot going for it. It's definitely in the mobile game category. And I don't care that it was on PC first because the whole thing feels designed for mobile. The mechanic of cutting grass is pretty weak sauce; I had hoped it would have been more addicting. It does bring out some OCD tendencies. I *want* to cut the grass in an orderly fashion, but the mechanics have you doing the exact opposite. Essentially, you need to touch all the grass squares (cut them) without running out of power. Power buffs appear randomly and you need to stop what you are doing and go grab them. There are other powerups and money. There is a metric ton of content and unlockables, which is great if you enjoy the game. Pros: +The price is right and there is ton of content for fans Cons: -The actual core mechanic isn't all that fun to me I don't have too much more to say about this one. I had hoped this would have been one of those little puzzlers that you can pick up and play for five minutes, but sadly it just isn't like that for me.

My first reaction to this game was "well if Frogger -> Crossy Road, I guess Hovver Bovver -> Grass Cutter". But that was wrong. This is billed as a hard, arcade-style game, and I think that's just plain wrong. It's more of a logic puzzle game that happens to also require dexerity to play. It's really not bad for the price of £0.68p.

I picked up this game since it had pretty rare achievements, and I figured it'd be a laggy, meme type game. I was wrong. I haven't played much yet, so this will be more of a "first impressions" review. The game at first appears to be like one of those pixel-app games that goes viral for a week or two, then is never heard from again. Kind of like that Crossy Road game, or whatever it was called. I wouldn't say that this is an overall pro or con, but just something that should be noted. There is a small story to go along with the gameplay, and although it isn't anything like a AAA Game's story, it still adds a nice immersion factor and makes the game a hell of a lot more enjoyable. The ranking system is pretty cool too - it adds a little incentive along with the gameplay. The free gifts thing makes it feel more towards the app side of the game spectrum, but it is a nice little bonus, I must say, as it allows you to change some stuff up, like different characters (like cows!). Now onto the soundtrack. I feel the soundtrack fits the game well, even though I haven't listened to all of it. I can't really complain about it. The upbeat tone really matches the goal of the game. The bonus packs are also a nice little reward for playing, and add more content, which is always a nice thing. The settings menu feels very nice as well, with many options availible. Overall, the game itself is fluid and responsive, and I haven't encountered any bugs. I also believe that allowing the menu to be navigated with the arrow keys was a nice touch, and the three second countdown from the pause menu is good too, so you have some time to think before reacting. So far, I have only noticed a couple of cons. Number one was a small translation error on the leaderboard screen. I don't recall exactly what it said, but it was improper English grammar. Although a very minor issue, I figured I would take note of it. The other one is more of a personal preference, but I don't like how you can hit the fence. I feel that hitting the fence should cause you to lose, kind of like how hitting the walls in the snake games causes you to lose. Although this would make the game harder, I think it would make more sense. Overall, the game was WAY better than I thought it would be. Although it gets repetitive, I feel that it is a nice little time-killer and can actually be pretty fun. Plus, it was created by a one-man team, so props for that. I've coded a few games so far and it would take me forever to make something of this quality. For what I've played so far, I'd give the game a very solid 8.5/10, only losing points for the repetitive nature, but still scoring decently high because of the extra levels and unlocks you can get. Also, plus points for having playable cow characters - mrjodicow will always approve of that :D

Mowing in real life is easier and more fun then this. Quickly got bored, haven't returned since. Mower DLC bundles are almost $50AU (just for mower skins!) - WTF, no way for a free mobile port; i'd rather go buy the broken fallout 76... So yeah nah... - 3/10
