absolutely horrendous story
Pretend that the story does not exist and you will enjoy this game.
Gearbox software, the Gran Pappy of the Looter Shooter genre, in fact you could make a case they created the whole F'N thing with one of the best games of all time.. Borderlands.. Since the original borderlands Gearbox has overseen a few highs.. Borderlands 2, a few lows, Aliens Colonial Marines, and some nobody really cared about Duke Nukem Forever.. Along the way we've all shared with them the laughs (Clap Trap is a riot..) the Tears (Roland NOOOOO!!!) and the fun... The Bee and Conference Call... Come on now.. With that said, it seems as though Gearbox has been chasing the Dragon and trying to replicate the success they saw with the first two games.. Did they finally manage to do something Hollywood struggled with for years, creating a third game (or movie) that is superior to the first.. That may very well be in the eyes of the beholder.. The Story : You're a vault hunter on Pandora, in search of mysterious loot filled vaults and monsters.. maybe some guns or explos... "YEAH #$@$ING EXPLOSIONS" calm down Mr. Torgue... Gone is the tyranny of Hyperion CEO Handsome Jack and here to stay are two Pandorian streamers.. (does streaming exist on Pandora, I guess so) Tyreen and her brother Troy, the rooting, tooting, killing while looting twins and the only two people who could unify the bandits on Pandora.. or at the very least keep them from eating each other.. Lots of stuff happens, people die, things get blown up.. creatures die, and Guns are looted.. LOTS of guns.. Gameplay - A first person looter shooter... You can pick one of four Vault hunters, each with their own unique power, not really on par with the fun factor of the previous games but still rather fun... After you pick your character, you roll around killing bandits, creatures, scallwags, Zim Zoodles, nuggets, mustachios, La Chugas, Crumbs, Willy Wonkas and Steve... You loot lots of weapons, shields, class mods and whatever else you can find.. I think even a few boogers.. I picked em myself... The game is filled with Side quest, and main quest.. Pro's.. Borderlands Humor.. can be hit or miss Some of the best Co-op fun that can be found Surprisingly Glitch and bug free Music and sounds Con's Borderlands Humor, can be hit or miss Story not nearly as good as previous games Too many legendaries... like you'll get LOTS of legendaries Recommendation If you like the previous installments of Borderlands, you'll like this game.. While the villains aren't on par with Handsome Jack, they are some vile loathsome people you'll be quite content with ending.. The game also tugs at your heartstrings, not nearly as much as the second game but it does.. Also a twist exist which will learn you thinking M. Night wrote the script.. Should you buy it.. Probably... I mean Gearbox took that Epic loot, but in all honesty that happened so long ago maybe it's time we forgive and forget.. So buy the game,, play it with some friends, and enjoy yourself or in the words of Mr. Torgue BUY THIS #$@#$ GAME AND BLOW #$@#$ UP!!!!
